Longines Transforms the Popular 'Ultra-Chrono' with Modern Innovations
Longines is debuting a reworked version of the ‘Ultra-Chrono,’ a high-beat dive watch from the ‘60s. The 2022 version is slightly larger than the original and features a cushion-shaped casing measuring 43mm rather than 42mm. In addition, unlike the original, it houses an ETA L836.6 designed specifically for Longines. The new Ultra-Chron is water-resistant up to 300 meters and has a rotatable bezel with sapphire crystals and luminous indices.
Consumers can choose between leather or stainless steel for the strap, and the watch comes complete with a sustainably produced NATO strap. Longines has gone the extra mile to have the watch model certified with guaranteed accuracy that mirrors COSC but with advanced temperature and testing features.
The 'Ultra-Chron' is available now via Longines with prices starting at approximately $3,460 USD.
