As technology continues to invade the office, people are forced to figure out the best way to utilize it; the Living on Video concept proposes a way to ensure that one of these hi-tech options are optimized to the fullest. Video conferencing is becoming more and more prevalent as people travel for business and companies either open offices across the world or correspond with other organizations. Unfortunately, the environment in which they take place does not often promote the best conversations.
Conceived by Steelcase in collaboration with Ideo, Living on Video proposes the use of informal spaces that recalls the look of photo booths crossed with living room furniture. By doing so, it fosters comfort and creativity, turning what can be stiff conversations into familiar ones.
