The 'Lively Greens' horticultural therapy table has been designed by Yu-Chin Gao as a functional furniture piece for indoor spaces that would encourage one or more people to interact with it. The unit features five sections for potted plants to be positioned and has a pond-like body of water below that will enable aquaponics growing for a symbiotic environment to admire. The use of a water tank in the middle uses negative pressure to elevate the aquatic environment so fish can swim up and be easily admired by onlookers.
