Get up close and personal with Elizabeth Winnel's lip close-up portraits.
These illustrations pull you in and don't let go, forcing you to exam and reflect on this series of lip portraits. Though all these lips are colored red and in some cases, show gorgeous teeth, it appears that they are all illustrations of different people instead of a close up series of only one set of lips.
White and different shades of red are the only color we see, providing great contrast within the images as Elizabeth Winnel draws your eyes to the bold shades of red on her mouth. The smeared red only serves to heighten the eroticism that would already be present in such an illustration and adds more red in areas that wouldn't normally have them, providing a sense of movement and excitement to the piece.
