The Lightfoot scooter is a solar panel-covered transportation solution perfect for helping riders to maximize their range when commuting or simple getting around town. The scooter is engineered to handle up to two riders and is powered by two brushless 750W hub motors and connected to a 48V/1.1kWh lithium ion battery. The battery is rated to provide up to 37-miles of range per charge, but this can be extended by up to 18-miles each day thanks to the two 120W solar panels integrated onto the body of the unit.
The Lightfoot scooter has a 20mph top speed and boasts an internal compartment perfect for keeping essentials stowed when riding. Priced at $4,995, the scooter is expected to start shopping to consumers in January 2025.
