The Light & Jelly series features psychedelic lamp designs fit for a sci-fi movie that has a retro futuristic aesthetic. Although each creation boasts a different shape and are uniquely solid rather than liquid, they are reminiscent of lava lamps, which were particularly popular throughout the late ‘60s and early ‘70s.
Created by Paris-based design studio Le Creative Sweatshop, the Light & Jelly lamp series was shot by still-life photographer Fabrice Fouillet. The gelatin’s clean lines and gradation of hues give each piece a vintage geometric appeal. The designs also have an eerie feeling since the jelly appears to be swallowing the static objects whole.
Abstract, colorful and imaginative, the Light & Jelly lamp series is perfect for both eclectic and minimalist homes. It will bring character to both.
