The LEGO Architecture Set Lets You Make Modern Lofts
Michael Hines — August 17, 2014 — Life-Stages
The LEGO Architecture Studio set confirms what many of us knew all along: architects take toy bricks way more serious than you ever and I ever will. The latest iteration in the series includes a 250-page guidebook with contributions from leading architecture firms. The set itself contains 1,200 pieces with 76 of them specially targeted at architects and designers.
One noticeable feature of the LEGO Architecture Studio set is that there are no colorful blocks. All bricks have a modern, light gray color, perfect for constructing models of modern apartments and lofts. Although the set isn't exactly for laymen, the LEGOs are still easy to work with, although building a replica of Big Ben or the CN Tower might be a bit tough to do.
