Although the details surrounding the release of the LEGO and adidas Oringials co-branded sneaker drop still remain limited, the two have now revealed a short teaser that showcases what's to come.
In the ad, a LEGO-made shoe box is shown with the collaborative branding, complete with adidas' classic blue colorway and the ZX 8000 model name, which was first unveiled in the 1980s and is known for its retro build and integration of bright colors. Towards the end of the ad, the new ZX 8000 is shown rising from the shoe box, revealing a contrast-heavy design that uses plenty of LEGO's classic building block colors—with hues of bright yellow, blue, and red featured along the upper and midsole.
The sneaker release is a part of adidas' A-ZX project, which includes a variety of collaborative designs.
