Showcasing at the London Design Festival, Ally Capellino and Rupert Blanchard’s collaboration ‘Bums on Seats’ was made up of pretty cool leather chairs. The chairs were a reworking of the iconic tubular stacking chair, composed of iron framing and distressed leather seating. The leather was patterned to better fit the specific ways people sit; whether it's sitting square in the middle, teetering on the edge or having your knees tucked into your chest.
These chairs are reflective of the human body, form and activity and would make a really unique addition to any home. Capellino’s knowledge of leather and Blanchard’s expertise in chair design has combined to create a truly interesting piece – that will also be comfortable and fit to your preferred seating form.
