Mexico-based designer Andrés Monnier designs the Lattice Day Bed with a minimal visual aesthetic. It is made from a grey quarry stone material as the original is made up of a support structure of stainless steel and marble. Additionally, other variations include materials such as white marble, granite rock, basalt, volcanic rock, and travertine.
Andrés Monnier asks the question "Is our human existence an interconnected reverie?" He means to encourage thought around the concept and what our roles are within what we perceive to be reality. The Lattice is a physical representation of what Monnier interprets as dreams. He understands that it is an idle illusion but can also be a medium for transformative energy.
