The La Chasse photo series is a surreal take on practice of hunting. First of all, it centers around child hunters, a concept that is very jarring with today's beliefs about the upbringing of kids. Secondly, their faces along with the faces of their prey have been creepily obscured by their hair and other odd objects. In a way, it is almost as though the La Chasse photo series is commenting on the anonymity that takes place during such a practice. One has to detach oneself in order to make a kill.
Shot by Marc Da Cunha Lopes, a photographer based in Paris, France, the La Chasse photo series adheres to a dark filter as well.
