Kyoto's Ace Hotel will soon open its doors, presenting visitors with elegant interiors that blend modern sensibilities with nods to traditional Japanese aesthetic.
The space was created by Commune design as well as Architect Kengo Kuma. As always, this Ace Hotel location offers a hip and aesthetically pleasing space for guests to call home while traveling. Catering to a wide range of clientele, the Ace Hotel appeals to business travelers, as well as young adults looking for a fashionable getaway. According to Kelly Sawdon, the Chief Brand Officer at the Ace Hotel, "Commune has been a part of the Ace Hotel family for over 10 years, and their holistic approach to design and thorough research, admiration and support of Japanese craft and meaningful narratives felt like the perfect fit for Ace Hotel’s first Japanese outpost.”
