Polish architectural student Philip Kuzevski came up with this 'Three Spirits' design for his master's thesis at the Warsaw Univeristy of Technology. One look at the pictures and the appeal for futurists is obvious; sleekly curving planes swim into one another amongst iridescent blue and white that camouflage neatly into placid ocean shores.
As if the aesthetics were not futuristic enough, the concept centers around three floating platforms that can be connected to another to form a superstructure or removed from one another to create separate free-sailing modules. This part-hotel, part-cruise ship design is appealing for a variety of reasons. It can provide a languid but interesting place to take a vacation as well as an adventurous island-coasting cruise if so desired.
Hopefully, Kuzevski's concepts will be realized in actual hotel sometime in the near future.
