The Street-Legal KTM X-Bow Takes on Snow Like a Champ (UPDATE)
Marissa Brassfield — December 21, 2008 — Autos
We've featured the KTM X-Bow before at Trend Hunter, but never before in snow. Most track-tuned roadsters wouldn't fare well in inclement weather, but this KTM X-Bow appears to do just fine.
Although it is essentially street-legal throughout much of Europe, the carbon-fiber KTM X-Bow isn't exactly the ideal automobile for winter driving. Despite its $130,000 price tag, the car isn't equipped with a heater, a windshield, traction control, or ABS brakes.
Implications - The KTM X-Bow is a phenomenal piece of auto tech that I would certainly like to own. However the hefty price tag will mean that will have to admire it from afar. It is a great all-weather racecar.
