It's not hyperbole to say that the Koenigsegg Regera may be one of the most amazing cars ever built. The Swedish automaker is known for creating ultra-light and incredibly fast cars, but the Regera (Swedish for "to reign") takes things to a whole new level. The hybrid hypercar has 1500 horsepower with 700 of that coming from its three electric motors. Two of those motors are used to power the rear wheel while the third works the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine, thus eliminating the need for a gearbox.
The Koenigsegg Regera is said to rocket from 0 to 250 mph in under 20 seconds and can also run for a short distance on pure electric power, a crazy juxtaposition. The Swedish company doesn't make many cars, but expect whatever Regera's it does build to sell before they even come off the assembly line.
