OTW by Vans Introduces the Engineered Knit Pack of Footwear
OTW by Vans continues to honor skateboarding as a sport and how it contributes to culture as a whole and its latest project is the Engineered Knit Pack. The collection of skate shoes is rooted in its product design which merges heritage with evolution. It takes signature silhouettes such as the Half Cab and the Old Skool, giving it a refreshed construction of knitted components throughout the upper.
The textures and artisanal finishes celebrate the structure and this is inspired by the brand's history whilst informing the pack with progressive design elements simultaneously. Dylan Petrenka, the Director of Footwear design at OTW by Vans notes “From a design perspective, OTW offerings are viewed through exploratory, disruptive and progressive lenses, focusing on elements of polarizing simplicity, irreverent form and futuristic craft."
