Amazon has just released a free Kindle for Blackberry application for download. The beta version software enables Blackberry owners with one of the seven supported Blackberry models to read over 400,000 Kindle books on their mobile phones, including nearly all of the New York Times best sellers.
The app is available to U.S. customers only and Kindle newspapers, magazines, and blogs are not currently available for Kindle for BlackBerry. Future versions of the Kindle for Blackberry will add search and scrolling to the page-by-page navigation, and the ability to create notes and highlights.
