Parents of children who love to run, play and explore are beginning to benefit greatly from devices like this kids' tracker. Gone will be the days of spotting children on leashes, when technology can do a much better job and impose none of the physical strain.
Crux Product Design created the Ora 'Smart Urban Safety' device with the intent of improving upon the GPS trackers currently on the market for youngsters. They found that many existing beacons are quite bulky, so they set out to design a compact one that can be strung around the wearer's neck.
Suitable for a broader age range, the kids' tracker continuously delivers location information to parents by relaying information between nearby smartphones. Mom and dad can find their child's whereabouts at all times by means of the Ora's companion app, and be notified of an emergency if the child twists the tracker into distress mode.
