This keyboard design is ideal for those who worry about sitting sedentary at their desks for too long. Rather than installing a standing desk or human-sized hamster wheel, the workoutcomputer replaces conventional keys with punching bags. So to type anything, you're going to wind up having a full-blown boxing workout.
Currently on display at the Istanbul Design Bicentennial, workoutcomputer was designed by Ines Kaag and Desiree Heiss of European design studio Bless. They explain "we were inspired by the personal needs for physical activity during day time and back pain in the evening after a full office day in front of the computer."
Instead of having to take breaks to stay active, this keyboard design allows you to work at the same time. However, your typing speed will likely be drastically impacted.
