Wireless guitar rigs often require a whole system of transmitters and receivers, but the Boss Katana-Air offers a more compact solution with wireless capabilities built right in. Appearing as a cross between a traditional guitar amplifier and a boombox, this battery-powered gadget features a low-latency transmitter that plugs directly into an electric guitar. This low-latency transmitter allows the Katana-Air to work wirelessly but also ensures that the delay between guitar and amp is kept to a minimum.
The amp provides 12 hours of playtime with a single charge of the transmitter. The amp is even capable of charging the transmitter through a slot and will remain in standby mode to conserve power when not in use. The Katana-Air can even be used a Bluetooth speaker and can be connected to an accompanying app.
