Kantik Big is a new bookshelf from Patricia Yasmine Graf of PYG-Design. The bookshelf is basically a sturdy piece of material with holes in it; it is leaned against a wall to create useful storage space. Kantik Big comes in a variety of colors, and having brightly colored walls doesn't hurt the design, either.

Implications - This library furniture takes a traditional design and modernizes it to appeal to a broad base of consumers. Companies should consider how their products can be infused with this sense of modernity in order to revamp pre-existing commodities. In taking this approach, companies save production costs and still come up with a profitable product that is appealing to many consumers.
