New Zealand designer David Moreland develops his own furniture and accessories. His latest project is ‘Knight Light,’ a modern-looking table lamp inspired by medieval armor.
Its shape resembles an aluminum lampshade with a laser cutout space for the light to shine through. The name of the project gives me the inclination that a knight's headgear inspired this innovative lamp.
Moreland’s design will be on display as part of the exhibition ‘New Zealand Room’ in Venice, Italy.
