Just Salad Unveils a Drive-Thru Restaurant in Livingston, N.J.

Health-conscious restaurant chain Just Salad has officially entered the drive-thru market, opening its first location in Livingston, New Jersey, in December. The milestone marks a significant step for the New York City-based salad chain, which operates more than 100 locations nationwide.

The new drive-thru concept was first announced last spring, signaling the company’s commitment to expanding accessibility and convenience for its health-conscious customer base. While the Livingston location's planned August launch was slightly delayed, the December debut positions Just Salad as one of the few health-focused brands embracing the drive-thru format—a space traditionally dominated by fast-food giants.

“In the past, there was something inherently down-market about drive-thru lanes, but in reality, it’s just about pushing out the product in a more convenient format, and that’s what our customers want,” Kenner told Nation’s Restaurant News.
