JOY Objects Partners with Très Bien to Launch the 'Chair One'
Niko Pajkovic — October 18, 2022 — Art & Design
Stockholm-based furniture brand JOY Objects has teamed up with Très Bien to launch a limited-edition iteration of the brand's previously released 'Chair One.' The new chair model aims to celebrate the label’s revamped space in London’s Soho.
Designed from aluminum and medium-density fibreboard, the Chair One abandons Scandinavian minimalism in favor of maximalist color schemes. The striking new chair will be available to purchase at the Très Bien Souvenir Shop Market in London.
“The idea for the collaboration came in conjunction with a commission we did for the Swedish Nobel Prize Museum,” Paulsen tells us. “I had two ideas for colorways [for them] and when they decided to go for the more ‘sober’ one we decided to do the other one anyway because we thought it would be perfect for Tres Bien.”
