Jessica Alba recently teamed up with premium denim label DL1961 to design the 'JAxDL' collection. While the idea of celebrities teaming up with fashion labels is nothing new, this collaboration marks the first time that Alba has lent a hand in the design process.
The JAxDL collection will consist of 10 denim styles, each of which will be available as of August 2016. According to Alba, the jeans will flatter many different body types so that all women will be able to feel comfortable wearing the collection. She explains, "It’s my first foray into fashion design, but I know I want to design for women of every body type." Although there is no word on the price point yet, consumers will be able to purchase the jeans both in stores and online.
