The JackRabbit hybrid vehicle appears to fuse a bicycle and a scooter into a single package to improve commutes and maintain a compact package. The vehicle actually contains very little bike components, as it lacks chains or gears. Instead, the JackRabbit hybrid vehicle is run using an electric drive that propels the vehicle up to 18 mph and provides a range up to 13 miles. The throttle is mounted on the handlebars and allows users to choose between climb, coast and cruise modes.
The shape of the JackRabbit hybrid vehicle definitely looks strange but the designers have insisted that this shape allows for the vehicle to remain nimble on urban commutes. The vehicle measures just four feet in length and weighs less than 20 pounds. The tires are nitrogen-infused and the rear tires in puncture-resistant.
