There's something innately calming about rocking furniture, and the Jack Lamp is no exception. The design was inspired by navigation buoys and harbors, but it also evokes the image of soothing waters, which makes it doubly calming.
Designed by Julia Reischel, the Jack Lamp features a "built-in motion sensor that dims the light depending on how much the lamp inclines," according to PSFK. A simple concept that is nevertheless incredibly interesting, I'm sure many would want this in their home.
