One of the iPhone’s shortcomings is it isn’t the most “movie friendly” phone (as ironic as that sounds), which is why Tristan Dalay designed an iPhone screen projector. This product, which is aptly named 'Big Screen,' actually magnifies the images playing on your phone into a larger, laptop size display.
By placing your iPhone into the rear of the Big Screen, its display seems to be projected onto a larger display. In actuality, that screen is itself a magnifying glass which amplifies the images. This means that instead of staring down at your phone to watch a movie or YouTube video, you insert the phone and, without any wires or batteries needed, it is presented at a larger scale.
The only drawback to the Big Screen is touchscreen functionality does not transfer to the larger screen. However, to control the video timeline or volume, users simply reach around and adjust settings on the iPhone 5 itself as usual.
