The Integrated Toll Module Lets Drivers Focus on the Road

Audi's new E-Tron SUV already packs a host of impressive automotive features, but its new Integrated Toll Module may be the most innovative feature for some drivers. Implanted into the E-Tron's rearview mirror, the Integrated Toll Module will allow drivers in the US and Canada to operate on toll roads without an electronic toll pass or center console packed with change.
The Integrated Toll Module also allows E-Tron drivers the ability to configure the system entirely through the infotainment system. From here, drivers can change the settings for vehicle occupancy so they pay the correct amount for HOV toll lanes, as well as the network they are using. The transmission of the signals will be handled through the car's built-in cellular data connection.
