Designer Constance Guisset is inspired by Batman during the development of her latest furniture drop. Thus, a collection of stackable chairs for French brand Matière Grise takes cues from the vigilante superhero's mask and cape.
The materials Constance Guisset used for her design are extremely durable. The form of the 'Batchair' is "scored with three fold lines along either side that create a gentle faceted cape-like curve around the [...] tubular frame." The creative is definitely skilled in subtly concealing the fact that her furniture was inspired by Batman. Rather, the reference is sleekly hidden by an approachable minimalist design. As of right now, the chairs are part of a larger collection by Matière Grise called 'Ankara.'
