The Inside Out House is unique for many reasons, but especially because it was designed to make you feel as though you were living outdoors (hence the inspiration for its name). Designed for a married couple and their two cats, this home is definitely one that gives you the best of both indoor and outdoor worlds.
Conceived by Takeshi Hosaka Architects, the Inside Out House is located in Tokyo, Japan. Although from the outside the cubic home looks rather minimalist and futuristic, its interior is airy, bright and full of foliage. The inside design is meant to resemble a big play area for cats and humans alike, and there is even one room that allows even the poorest of weather inside, providing the residents of the home with a real feel for nature.
