Although creepy crawlers might make people's skin crawl in real life, the Insect Collection by Deesawat, a design studio based in Bangkok, Thailand, is inspired by critters that would most likely be featured in an animated Pixar film. Cute and simplified, the overall forms will burrow themselves in the hearts of their owners rather than repulsing them.
Crafted out of teak wood and finished with stainless steel legs, the pieces making up the Insect Collection by Deesawat are incredibly modern as well. Although the shapes are abstract and organic as a whole, there is a realistic nature about them that will immediately recall a grasshopper, water bug and everything in between. Made for outdoor use, the collection can be used at accent tables. But watch out, they might just scurry away.
