Inspired by J.M. William Turner, Toronto-based designer Ingrid Kay is an artist who aims to portray emotion in her works. After understanding the needs of her clients, Kay then attempts to express what he is trying to express through abstract imagery and unique watercolor techniques.
Ingrid Kay is very knowledgeable in her field. She studied at McGill University, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Saidye Bronfman Centre, Avenue Road Art School and the Koffler Gallery. She also participated in an intensive painting workshop in France and was involved in a painting mentor program with an established Toronto artist for two years.
