IKEA Sleepover Offers Fans a Night of Fun & Pampering
Katherinev123 — January 3, 2012 — Marketing
Don't you always wish you could spend the night in one of the many super-comfy beds you see when furniture-shopping? The IKEA sleepover, an event held at the end of November, let customers do just that!
The IKEA sleepover brought 100 lucky people, ages 25 and up, to the IKEA store in Essex for a fun-filled night of massages, movies, manicures and of course, slumber. The guests, decked out in their best pajamas, were given goodie bags filled with things like midnight snacks, slippers and eye masks. UK celebrity Sam Faiers, star of 'The Only Way Is Essex,' was there to read everyone a bedtime story, and a sleep expert helped participants choose the right mattresses and gave tips on how to get a better night's sleep.
The unique and customer-focused event was inspired by a Facebook group called 'I wanna have a sleepover at Ikea.'
