The IKEA coffee table is synonymous for being inexpensive and useful, and this project that upscales it from simply table, to music visualizer shows how it can be made even more awesome.
Powered by a Raspberry Pi, the table is the design work of Charlie Turner and can be created using just a handful of components. The table consists of a standard IKEA coffee table being hollowed out and fitted with a series of different colored LEDs. From here, the LEDs are connected to a music source and will respond accordingly to create an enhanced sense of interaction with ease.
