There are regular laptops and then there is the Ideapad U1 Hybrid concept from IBM’s PC division. What looks like a regular (but devilishly handsome) computer is actually a 11.6-inch touchscreen tablet. The screen actually comes out of the body too!
The Ideapad U1 Hybrid “operates as a computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, Windows 7 and a 128GB solid state drive," according to TomsGuide. "But the screen is outside the body, it operates as an independent tablet computer, complete with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a Linux OS, 512MB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory."
Expect this kickass tablet on the market by June 2010 for a super affordable price of $1,000. What a deal for something that looks this good!
