At CES 2022, HyperX, a gaming electronics brand owned by HP, unveiled its first-ever wireless gaming controller called the Clutch.
Setting itself apart from the competition, this alternative controller was built for mixed-mode use and comes with a built-in USB port so that users can switch between console and PC gaming. In addition, the handheld device was modeled after the original Xbox controller, delivering a similar ABXY layout, trigger design, and textured sticks. As a result, the unit has a familiar form and feel that many gamers are sure to appreciate.
However, its main point of difference from a traditional Xbox controller is that it comes equipped with a phone grip that is customized to fit the size of any Android phone, allowing users to enhance their mobile gaming experiences.
