The Sesame Street Muppets will have you rolling on the floor with laugh with its new parody 'The Hungry Games: Catching Fur.' The five minute short, which coincides with the release of Catching Fire, has Cookie Monster playing ‘Cookiness Evereat,’ who volunteers for a cookie-eating competition. Other witty references include an Effie Trinket Muppet, a talking pita bread character, and a finicky eater meant to parody character Finnick O’Dair from Catching Fire.

This Sesame Street Hungry Games skit is a spot-on parody of the immensely successful Hunger Games trilogy. Cookie Monster as Katniss was a genius move that will garner plenty of laughs from viewers. This video is a must-watch for fans of the Muppets and The Hunger Games alike. So take a seat, turn the video on, and “may the cookies be ever in your flavor!”
