Along the 8th Arrondissement in Paris is a new hotel that’s making waves called the Hotel du Ministere. Hotel du Ministere is the brainchild of French interior designer François Champsaur. The hotel is completely centered on the interior, creating an interesting inside-out feeling implying that the creativity started inside and worked its way out.
Hotel du Ministere uses a wide array of fabrics, materials and textures to give the hotel a different feel or life within each separate room. Thus, the hotel takes on a more organic feel, almost as if it has a mind of its own.
François Champsaur does a nice job of creating a hotel that feels more like a large piece of patchwork -- living and breathing art -- as opposed to a simple hotel.
