Tech companies around the world may be constantly introducing new and improved television options for our viewing pleasure, but none of them have ever considered something like the Holoart Crystal Display Ball. Bringing a magical, Harry Potter-like feel to home entertainment, it is an actual crystal ball onto which images are projected for a three dimensional look.
The Holoart Crystal Display Ball can be hooked up to DVD or video player to play movies, games and music videos. Priced at $4,909, it is available online at the Japan Trend Shop. Though a cool idea, it would work best as a "signage unit for shops, bars and office receptions," as their web site puts it, as I don't think homes are quite ready for them yet.
