Ahead of Copenhagen Fashion Week, UK publication the Guardian approached Danish toy block brand Lego to create a selection of hipster Lego characters that celebrate the Nordic country's particular way of life.
The curious product of such a request came in the form of several bearded, bike riding figurines that cleverly capture the minimalist style Denmark and Scandinavia in general has come to represent in western minds.
The Lego brand, which headquartered in Aarhus, north Denmark, enlisted design manager Tara Wike to create a representation of the country's stylish youth. The hipster Lego figurines boast monochrome black and grey jackets, striped tees, thick rimmed glasses, button-down plaid shirts and thick, overgrown beards, as well as colorful fixed fear bicycles that seal the deal.
