Blackmagic Design Releases the New Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro

Digital cinema and hardware manufacturer company Blackmagic Design released the new high-end Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro that features a compacted all-in-one design with a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate body. Blackmagic Design CEO Grant Petty spoke on the launch of the studio camera, saying: “I think this will be amazing as customers will be able to place cameras almost anywhere in the world! We think our live production customers will love it!”
The studio camera has a large integrated 7-inch HDR viewfinder, an EF lens mount, a larger 6K sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, built-in remote-controllable ND filters, and built-in live streaming capabilities. The standout feature within all of these is the built-in ND filters as it is designed to match the colorimetry and it comes with the 2, 4, and 6-stop filters that can adapt under strong lighting. The ND filters can be controlled remotely or by the function buttons on the back of the camera. TThe studio camera is available for $2,495.
