Hernö Gin is showing off a new bottle created by Ardagh Glass Packaging-Europe that will help to transition the brand into a new era that's focused on sustainability. The bottle is characterized by its lightweight profile that weighs in at 480-grams, which comes as a 100-gram reduction over the previous version. The packaging also features an increased amount of recycled cullet content that helps the bottle to have a reduction of 31% in carbon emissions.
CEO Emma Edfors spoke on the Hernö Gin packaging saying, "We are so proud of our new bottle. For us, glass is the obvious choice. By moving production to Ardagh in Sweden, we are minimising our transport, and thereby significantly lowering our climate footprint. We think this is an important and sustainable choice.”
