OnLogic unveiled the 'Helix 401,' a prebuilt miniature PC that runs on 12th-generation Intel Core and Celeron CPUs. The Helix 401 series is configurable with up to an Intel Core i7-1270PE, which is a powerful, yet efficient, central processor with integrated graphics. These CPUs are equipped with Intel Iris XE iGPUs which are suited for general-purpose workloads, such as spreadsheets, AI work, and other standard computer tasks. However, these computers will not be running high-end video games due to clockspeed and cooling limitations.
The Helix 401 mini PCs feature a unique chassis design that places an emphasis on the large heatsink. This heatsink connects to the core motherboard and extends to the edge of the computer, passively dissipating heat as effectively as possible while giving the computer an industrial, metallic design. The panel with the interface options is attached to the heatsink, though, to allow for standard ports such as Ethernet, HDMI, USB, and USB-C.
