The Habit Burger Grill recently expanded its menu with the addition of the new Hatch Chile Charburger. The new dish is part of a special menu that celebrates a beloved Southwestern pepper grown in New Mexico.
The Hatch Chile Charburger consists of chargrilled chiles roasted over an open flame to bring out the pepper's smoky flavor. The chiles are then placed on top of a burger alongside melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and fire-roasted chipotle salsa for a spicy Southerwestern creation. Alongside the new burger, the same chargrilled chiles are also used to make a Hatch Chile Chicken Sandwich and a Hatch Chile Chicken Salad.
The Habit Burger Grill's new dishes help to celebrate regional flavors by taking advantage of the popularity of Hatch Chile Season in the US.
