The conceptual 'Waveform' haptic wearable is the design work of Kyle Hamm and identifies what could be done to make virtual reality (VR) experiences even more immersive without the need for oversized or cumbersome equipment. The wearable features an over-the-shoulders design that would deliver haptic feedback to the user on both sides of their chest as well as the upper back. This is done in a relatively discreet, lightweight manner in order to not interfere with the user when wearing a VR headset.
The conceptual 'Waveform' haptic wearable features a spring-loaded design to help it perfectly fit the contours of the user's body and would drastically enhance the user experience when gaming or simply watching movies.
