Based in Malaysia, the sportswear brand developed the device, which is cleverly disguised as a stylish handbag accessory, to explode on "snatch thieves" and stop potential thieves who would become easily identifiable once covered in ink. The company's founder Hui Matthews explains "the handbag Dyetonator is just another way to put safety back in the hands of women, and we hope that it will act as a deterrent to snatch thieves." Available in five different colors including rose gold and jet black, the Handbag Dyetonator has not yet been released officially, but interested parties can sign up for the waitlist online.
