Audio accessories may primarily be about the sound for the wearer, yet the impression one presents to everyone else is purely visual. The Gula Headphones work to the criteria of pleasing these two senses in a way that allows one to express his sense of style.
Designer Brandon Liew began with the intention of creating earphones that would deliver an inexpensive and no-frills experience of listening to music. However, extra care would be put into the aesthetics of the set.
In true Melburnian fashion, the Gula Headphones are a chic mix of retro references and contemporary flair. They incorporate the vintage adjustable band which crosses the crown of the head, and the pair of cords which meet below the chin. Smooth shapes and bold color accents bring them into the 21st century.
