Guerilla Art curating is when a group of art lovers get together and decide to bring art to the streets to make it easily accessible for people who might not usually frequent art galleries. The Street Museum of Art, previously seen in New York, has just hit the streets of London and what they are doing is pretty amazing.
World class art is being shown on the streets of London from Shoreditch to Hackney and the guerilla street museum of art is currently showing the famous anti-establishment graffiti artist Banksy's work. During the course of the The Street Museum of Art works will also be shown from artists like Mobstr,Phlegm, Roa, Skewville, Space Invader and Stik and Swoon. The best thing about this street art festival is that the art's always on show and it won't cost you a penny!
This is an innovative way to bring art to the masses and integrate youth culture into urban communities.
