Antwerp-based firm nortstudio releases a colorful and geometric Urban Grid Bench Series. The design of the seating is modular and it actively takes cues from elements that are found in the modern city landscape. The bases of the Urban Grid Bench boast solid geometric volumes that reference pieces that are commonly found on construction sites. The whimsical coloring of the components — from deep blue to pale pink, elevate the singular shapes and give them an aesthetic that is transferable to the modern residence.
The customizable Urban Grid Bench is comprised of these three bases that are "scored at the top with shallow grid-work." This allows for consumers to arrange the pieces as they see fit and place a grid plane made out of anodized aluminum for outdoor purposes or steel for indoor.
